Due to our extensive product range, calculating the delivery charge can be complicated. In most cases, when your postcode has been provided, delivery is automatically calculated by the website and is clearly shown at the checkout. However on certain products, the delivery charged is a covering charge. Should you wish, you are able to contact our staff about this charge as you may be eligible for a lower delivery cost. Within a 50 mile radius, your order will be delivered by our own fleet of vehicles. Over a 50 mile radius, your order may be delivered by our vehicles but more likely via a courier service. Please be aware that when ordering extremely heavy products via courier such as concrete or items longer than 2.4m, you may be required to help unload the wagon. Standard delivery is within 2-10 working days (this may increase during busy periods), although you have the option of next day delivery (Subject to conditions). For next day delivery, orders must be placed before 10am for your order to be delivered on the next working day (Monday-Friday). During busy periods, next day delivery may not be available due to the high volume of orders and deliveries. Free Delivery: When your order value is greater than £100 including VAT, you automatically qualify for free delivery if you live 35 miles or less from Cocklestorm Fencing Ltd (M26 2UT). The delivery timescale for the free delivery is between 2-15 working days dependant upon when we are in your delivery area. If the delivery exceeds 35 miles you will be charged an extra £1.20 per mile or a courier charge if your order is delivered by a courier. Please Note: For bespoke items such as made to order products, cutting or dipping service, please allow up to an additional 15 working days for production / purchasing, in addition to delivery times. Bespoke products are NOT available for next day delivery and are not eligible for return. Important Notice Regarding Courier/Pallet Deliveries: If you are not home & you have a safe place to leave your consignment, our carrier is automatically authorised to deliver your consignment without a signature, please note that this will not be possible on instances where the carrier has to leave the consignment on a public walkway or on the road. Please be aware that if the carrier arranges a delivery day & you are not at home to take the delivery & there is no safe place to leave the consignment on your property you may incur a second delivery charge. Delivery Issues: The Customer should check their order promptly and carefully upon arrival, and inform the delivery agent of any damages or shortages discovered at the time of delivery and record this on the delivery record (e.g. "packaging damaged"). If the Customer is unavailable to do this they should check the order carefully within 48 hours of delivery. In all cases the Customer should notify the Company of any damage or shortfall within 48 hours of delivery.
