Surrey 7x7ft Shed

The Surrey shed is only available in one size, 2.1m x 2.1m (length x width). The height of the eaves is 1.68m but the full height of the shed is 2.15m. The window section comprises two 3mm thick glass panes, with the option of having the glass replaced with either safety glass or Perspex. This section can be positioned at either side to suit where it is positioned, or you may choose to have no windows.

Each of the double doors are fully framed and braced then hung from three strong tee hinges, complete with a slide bolt lock. This lock can be secured with a padlock to ensure items in your Surrey shed remain safe.

As standard, Surrey sheds are supplied untreated. However, as Cocklestorm would always recommend treating your shed, we offer 2 different options protect your shed from the elements.

Firstly, they can be dipped in a water based preservative, resulting in a red cedar colour. As this is only a water based treatment, it only partially soaks into the timber but will still result in a good level of protection. The second, and most common option, is to have your Surrey shed treated with oil based preservative. This offers a better protection as it soaks deeper into the timber, not allowing any water penetration. Using an oil based preservative also offers a colour choice from the range available, giving a vibrant look to your new Surrey shed.

When fitting a shed, Cocklestorm recommend using a 4” x 2” pressure treated timber base to sit the shed on top of. The most important reason for this is so that the shed itself sits on a solid, flat surface. Having the shed elevated, allows airflow underneath and keeps it from being sat directly on the ground where moisture can penetrate the base of the shed and cause damage to the wood.

If you require your Surrey shed to be fitted by Cocklestorm, it may be subject to a free site survey to determine if anything else is required to site the shed. Should you prefer to purchase the shed without fitting, then it will come supplied with all the necessary fixings, such as fascias, felt, nails, screws etc.

Due to our extensive product range, calculating the delivery charge can be complicated. When your postcode has been entered, delivery is automatically calculated by the website and is clearly shown at the checkout. However on certain products, the delivery charged is a covering charge. Should you wish, you are able to contact our staff about this charge as you may be eligible for a lower delivery cost.

For all products that are stock items, deliveries are within 1-10 working days if you are located less than 10 road miles of M26 2UT. If you are over 10 road miles and the delivery is made by Cocklestorm and not our couriers, the delivery will be within 1-15 working days. (Working days being Monday to Friday)

Within a 50 mile radius, your order will more than likely be delivered by our own fleet of vehicles. Over a 50 mile radius, your order may be delivered by our vehicles but more likely via a courier service.

For all deliveries carried out by Cocklestorm's fleet of vehicles, customers will be contacted via E-Mail or phone the day before the delivery is due. This is to confirm the delivery date and a 1 hour time slot that the materials will be delivered. Should the designated delivery date not be suitable or you need to re-arrange, your delivery will fall back to the initial waiting period for deliveries.

Free Delivery: All van deliveries within 2 road miles of Cocklestorm Fencing Ltd (M26 2UT) qualify for free delivery. If your delivery address is over 2 miles and under 50 miles, free delivery options are available with a minimum spend, please see the model on our delivery information page.

Please Note: For bespoke items such as made to order products, out of stock products, cutting or Barrettine dipping service, please allow additional time for production / purchasing, in addition to delivery times. Bespoke products are NOT eligible for return if you, the customer, have provided the incorrect measurements / information or ordered by mistake.

Important Notice Regarding Courier/Pallet Deliveries: If you are not home & you have a safe place to leave your consignment, our carrier is automatically authorised to deliver your consignment without a signature, please note that this will not be possible on instances where the carrier must leave the consignment on a public walkway or on the road. Please be aware that if the carrier arranges a delivery day & you are not at home to take the delivery & there is no safe place to leave the consignment on your property you may incur a second delivery charge. Note: When ordering heavy products via a courier service, such as concrete or items longer than 2.4m, you may be required to help unload the wagon.

Delivery Issues: The Customer should check their order promptly and carefully upon arrival, and inform the delivery agent of any damages or shortages discovered at the time of delivery and record this on the delivery record (e.g. "packaging damaged"). If the Customer is unavailable to do this, they should check the order carefully within 48 hours of delivery. In all cases the Customer should notify the Company of any damage or shortfall within 48 hours of delivery.
